Loopscicle Viewer
#1
Hi,

Big fan of the program, great job!

Your viewer is the only one I know of that allows gifs to autoplay and stretch to fit while in slideshow mode, so I it almost daily.

But I was wondering if it would be possible to get webm support since I have some of those in my gif folders.

Thank you Heart ,
Z

Very glad to hear you're using and enjoying the viewer! And yes, it does have WebM support. As long as the filename extension is ".webm" the program will pick those up and display them too!

First, I fucking love your image viewer. I used irfanview before, and I got tired of the vaporware ugly ass interface pretty quickly. Also it had no webm support.

Your program is a godsend, a fucking gift to the world, and I'm not sure how I lived without it.

Now to my problem, I found a webm that crashes the program instantly on opening. If I open the file, or click next from the previous one, the viewer will simply close without any warning sign. The file opens normally in firefox.

Now the other problem, the webm in question is porn. And not the vanilla type. So NSFW warning:

Thanks! I checked the file you sent that was causing a crash and found it uses the VP9 codec, while the Loopscicle Image Viewer only supports VP8. In the coming months I hope to add VP9 support. In the meantime I did address the crash and the program will gracefully inform the user that the file will not play instead of unexpectedly quitting.

Anyway to delete that link? Don't really want to keep it associated to my dropbox.
